The other day I received a check in the mail for $2,257,09. Big deal, right? Well maybe not a big deal, but it was the result of an 11.25% return on just one of the many delinguent tax certificates I purchased last May in Orange County’s tax deed sale. What kind of return have you made in the stock market since last May?
The annual tax lien certificate sale is soon and it’s time to start getting ready. (Orange County's is the end of May.) Start setting money aside and do your research now on how it works. There are several great resources out there but one of the best resources I’ve found is “Real Estate Tax Deed Investing: How We Made Over One Million Dollars in Two Years” by by Matt Merdian and Laurence Samuels. Most people don’t know a whole lot about tax deed investing, which is what makes it so lucrative. And with a nearly-guaranteed return, sometimes as high as 18%, it’s worth the effort to learn how it works. Florida and Arizona are the best states for buying tax certificates for several reasons. I’m certainly not qualified to teach anyone else how to do it but I’ve researched it enough to see the benefits are great!!
This is essentially what John Beck is selling in his “Free & Clear” Program – but I strongly recommend not buying that and doing the research yourself. John Beck’s program has assembled information that is free on the net and is not outdated like some of the details in his program’s information. The program is not a scam, as is widely commented on on the web, but in my opinion is a waste of money.
